Authorize.Net Help
Using Authorize.net in Charge It requires two pieces of information to function correctly: your Authorize.net API Login and your Transaction Key. If you are having trouble, these are the first thing to check. To retrieve these:
- Log into the Merchant Interface at https://secure.authorize.net
- Select Settings under Account in the main menu on the left
- Click API Login ID and Transaction Key in the Security Settings section
- If you have not already obtained an API Login ID and Transaction Key for your account, you will need to enter the secret answer to the secret question you configured at account activation.
- Click Submit.
If all of the above is correct and you are still having trouble, make sure that your account is configured to accept "Card Not Present" transactions and that you are using the appropriate API Login and Transaction Key for this mode.
You can use the switches in the settings screen to turn on and off the various testing options that Authorize.net provides.
